Hi, I’m Lisa a Technical Support Specialist and Security-Focused IT professional based in Sacramento, CA.
I bring hands-on IT experience across help desk support, network administration, system configuration, vulnerability scanning, and small business IT consulting. My background spans Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, with a growing specialization in cybersecurity operations and offensive security.
Before transitioning fully into IT, I worked as a Paramedic/EMT for nearly a decade, an experience that shaped my ability to troubleshoot under pressure, document accurately, and operate within structured, high-stakes environments. I bring that same discipline and reliability to every IT challenge.
What I Do
IT Support & Troubleshooting, Hardware, OS, and network issue resolution across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Remote support via RDP, SSH, and VPN tools. I work on basic software engineering projects – JavaScript, REACT, Python, and C++. I also complete basic cybersecurity vuln assessments.
Currently pursuing CompTIA Security+, Network+, and CySA+ certifications (expected 2026) and planning an MSIS degree at Cal Poly.
Active home lab with Kali Linux, VirtualBox, Nmap, Wireshark, Nessus/OpenVAS, and Splunk. Seeking remote IT Help Desk, Web Support, or Jr. Networking/Cybersecurity roles.
